Glues
It’s very important that you choose the right glue for each mosaic project.
If your mosaic is for indoor use and 2D, you can use ordinary PVA glue, but if it’s for outdoor use, you must make sure that you choose the correct glue for all weather conditions, otherwise, in worst case scenario, your tiles will come loose over time.
For outside and 3D work, it is best to use a tile adhesive or a silicone glue. If it is glass on glass and transparent, then it is ideal to work with silicone glue, because it dries up transparent and is non-slip while working.
Please note that tiles with a foil backing can only be glued with pH-neutral glue.
